Chlamydia Testing – This is a very common sexually transmitted disease – one in 10 sexually active young people are believed to have it. There are often no symptoms but if it is left untreated it can cause infertility and other health problems. Testing is done by a quick urine sample and is free for all 16 to 24years old. Treatment is a single tablet of antibiotics. Ask the doctor or practise nurse if you would like a test or request a confidential postal test here. |
Adult Vaccinations – Flu and Pneumococcal vaccinations are offered to patients over 65 and those in high risk groups. |
